We dined at Jim 'N Nick's today for lunch. Our food was acceptable but not exceptional. There were four in our party. Along with the muffins delivered to every table we ordered drinks and onion rings. The onion rings were hot and flavorful. For our meals we ordered a chicken baker, a pork baker, a salad with pork and a brisket plate. The potatoes had a taste and consistency which indicated they had been previously baked and then reheated. They were of a thick consistency and not sufficiently hot as a freshly baked potato would be. The chicken and pork toppings were tasty with a smoky flavor. The salad was crisp and fresh but the pork topping contained too many fatty pieces for our liking. Finally, the brisket was hot and tender with a good flavor. Overall, our dining experience was pleasant, our service was prompt, friendly and efficient, and our food was delivered to our table quickly and accurately. We would return to this restaurant in the future.
You can never go wrong when eating at Jim n Nicks. Their food is always great. We had a party of four. Our wait was about 15 minutes. The restaurant was very clean. Our waitress was great. Thank you all for making each time we eat a great experience.
Great service! Our waitress, Jamie, was just phenomenal! The chicken sandwich was great with their Morgan County white sauce. I had never had it before, but surprisingly loved it! My husband had the brisket, but it was a bit dry this time (it's usually great!) But they reimbursed us. The chocolate pie was very chocolatey. But the standout was Jamie, she was so sweet and helpful and prompt even through the whole dry brisket experience. This is our new date night place for sure!
Food here never disappoints... food prepared just right... lots of flavor n generous portions! Servers pleasant n efficient.... wonderful Experience
